Mamagorilla - becoming a mother
After the arrival of my children, I had a very strange experience: as if a huge finger had pressed a red button somewhere, opening up a whole new, previously unknown part of my personality. It didn’t ask if it's allowed to come, it was just there once, afraid, raging, directed. As we imagine a gorilla raging.
The tamed beast
My lovely, funny, spontaneous self was suddenly forced into the corner like Baby in the movie, Flashdance. It took me six years of self-knowledge to realize: in this duality, on the border of madness and good humor, when so much task and pain overwhelms me that I can no longer be taken seriously, I can see and live the strength in this as well.
