Family is, at best, where they love and accept each other, along with their imperfections.
One of my biggest desires is to live in a family like this, to create one. My self-knowledge work of the last six years is also largely about this, to understand how I can be a wheel in this process instead of a wheelbase.
These abstract arts of mine are made similarly to my oilpaintings: something comes to my mind that then shapes itself during the making, and the end result tells things that sometimes surprise me too. With this work I had an approximate form in my head, and as I was thinking about the process, it suddenly came clear that what was going to emerge is our family, our common foundations, which provide security, where it is good to take roots, and from which our various personal characters could boldly grow forward.
